Water!

A natural spring suddenly bubbled up … out of the sand above our new beds at Griffin Garden! With an ingenious plan of creating an aqueduct that flows on gutter pipes, over many obstacles into a holding tank, a hosepipe from this tank then uses gravity to water our plants. The hosepipe didn't fit the length of our new polytunnel so instead of using a watering can to water the far reaching plants, I set the hose on the bed and directed the flow of water to each plant using side veins, pipes to bridge beds. It was a magical experience to work with nature and now all the seedlings have access to water.
