What is natural agriculture?

Natural Agriculture is human endeavour which revolves around nature and the earth. In our opinion it is humility in action. The movement that has become known as “natural agriculture” grew up around the Japanese sage Masanobu Fukuoka, who described a harmonious cooperation between man and nature, where living in and growing amongst our natural environment was the basis for both realising and feeding oneself as one simultaneous way of being. His main approach to yielding plants, vegetables and fruits was returning all of land, crops and man to the unfathomable mechanism and momentum of nature itself, where the end result would be:

  1. No ploughing

  2. No fertilisers

  3. No weeding

  4. No pesticides or herbicides.
