3 sisters!

All 3 sisters are in flower. The bean (purple flowers) that feed the corn (spiky fingered flowers) with nitrogen and the squash (big yellow flowers) that cover the ground to create a living mulch.

the orange calendula are pest deterrents. Symbiosis in perfect unison 🤗

First of our buttercup squashes are being formed

Hopefully they will look like this in September ...

We have alsograwn the Turks Turban squash, which happens to be all of our favourite pumpkin. None of us knew until we planted the 3 sisters!
